The Lesson Fasting. Please Gordon Robertson's has such a soft voice that it can hardly be heard over the microphone 25:00 in the video and beyond can demonstrate this. Can someone do something to improve the audio volume of his microphone? Many thanks, God Bless!

When the Holy Spirit calls a believer to a fast, than that believer must fast. Hebrews 5:8 says Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered. When a believer fasts for the Lord, that believer is suffering in his flesh for the Lord and is learning obedience by this suffering. The believer is putting his appetites off in order to be obedient to suffer for the Lord by fasting. The next verse in Hebrews 5:9 says and being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him. So this means that if God calls you to a fast, one must obey. If a believer does not obey the fast over and over when the Holy Spirit is leading the person to fast, a hardness of heart comes into that person for refusing to obey. However if the believer is trying to fast there is mercy to start the fast over again. God will grant mercy to that believer to try to obey. But we need the grace and mercy of the Holy Spirit to grant us the strength and power to fast. We need to ask for his provision to enable us to fast. Then we will be successful. So after we receive Christ as Lord and Savior, salvation does depend on our obedience, Hebrews5:9 and also because faith without works is dead. Also the Greek meaning for the word fast means to abstain from food.
I agree it is very difficult to hear Gordon and you have to keep changing the volume so you can hear what he is sharing. May GOD bless you both!

Wrong. Biblical fasting is food and water.
Social media and Netflix fasting isn't fasting. If you feel you need to "fast" these things, they may be idols and you are in love with the things of the world and you are settling your affection on things below in this world and not above in Heaven where Christ dwells.
