I've enjoyed many of your teachings, but praying for Jesus to come into your heart DOES NOT SAVE YOU. You must BELIEVE the Gospel, Corinthians 15:1-4. It's BELIEF that Jesus was crucified, buried and raised from the dead, not repenting of your sins and asking Him into your heart. The Bible has no such teaching! I need to unsubscribe because this is the second false teaching I have heard. God Bless.

Please, PLEASE do not use the so-called "sinners prayer". It is so very dangerous. People hear it and believe they are saved by simply reciting someone else's scripted words. They are not! They will stand before God and say "..but, Lord I said the prayer. And I even meant it at the time". The so-called "sinners prayer" has sent many to hell.

I see that you are using the NKJB. That is a bible used to finally get people to let go of thei beloved King James Bible.
People did not know it was not only of the inspired Antioch manuscripts but the conflicting, confusing Alexandrian manuscripts combined. Their goal was to switch away from the inspired word, in fact the word God said He preserved Psalm12:6-7, and to bring confusion, conflict and doubt by continually asking, Did Gid say???
These are called the Codex B or Vaticanus from the Vatican with basement. And the Sianiticus from a monestary. They do not agree with each other and the latter has 30 corrections per page.

Many believe that they are saved because they said the sinners prayer. Yet, "The heart is deceptive above all things and desperately wicked, who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9.
That prayer may be from Arminianism which states that man can save himself by his free will. Calvinists say that God chooses and who can resist the Holy Spirit? Stephen told his persecutors that they do always resist the Holy Ghost. Acts 7:51.
Scripture says, " The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart and saveth them that be of a contrite spirit. Psalm 34:18, Isaiah 57:!5, 66:2.
Ask God to send the Holy Ghost to you, Luke 11:13. He will gently bring your sins to mind. This will be painful because pride hates it! As they come confess them to Jesus. Persevere.
"Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light." Ephesians 5:14.
When you see your desperate need for a Saviour, CRY OUT to Jesus to save you. That is His desire.
Then call upon the name of the Lord. How? As Peter told the Jews who were pricked in the heart. Acts 2:38 and as Paul did. Acts 22:16. They were baptized, calling on the name of the Lord.
"Jesus answered and said, Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. " John 3:5. John's water baptism included confessing of sins. Mark 1:1-5. Jesus baptizes with the Holy Ghost. Luke 3:16.
Meditate on Romans 6:3-11 and Colossians 2:6-14, Matthew 28:19-20. 1 Corinthians 12:12-14.

I'm confused about some things said. Are we saved by grace or works? I see grace everywhere. Perhaps we misunderstand his point in the context that Jesus was speaking. Was Jesus pointing to what a person who has given his life will do? Was the time he was talking to them different from the days of grace because when he said there things he hadn't yet died? I don't know maybe it's the difference between regarding his ticket to heaven as cheap instead of something to take seriously. I am not padding sin, selfishness or the like. This just seems contradictory. I do really like Jimmy Evans so no disrespect meant. I just am not sure what I'm missing.
I have given out many Gospel tracts, but I don't know if anyone has come to salvation from them – I pray so!
The book of Matthew is addressed to the JEWS – read it and realize who Jesus is talking to!

"The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap," features in verse one.
The verse follows: "The cities of Aroer are forsaken: They will be for flocks to lie down in and there will be no-one to frighten them… sovereignty will disappear from Damascus and the remnant of Aram."
Theorists believe the extract refers to the levelling of the Syrian capital, ushering in a period of doom.
Tani Shrabel, writing for Endtime magazine, believes Damascus will become the battleground for Armageddon following its demise.

The parable of the ten virgins and of the talents could be about Jesus' coming at the rapture while the sheep and goats is surely about Jesus' return to earth to establish his earthly kingdom.

it’s been the end times since jesus departed from the disciples into the clouds. no one knows when he will return except the father. don’t you love it when bad things happens and the doom and gloom eschatological christians all go “JESUS IS COMING VERY SOON THIS IS PROPHECY EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE READY RIGHT NOW HE COULD BE HERE ANY MINUTE. REPENT AND BELIEVE” blah blah blah. why can no one just say “ hey i don’t know when he will be here regardless of the current circumstances of the world.”

Did you know the bible says most people are going to Hell? There is a narrow road to get to Heaven and very few find it? Why is this? Because we are dead in trespasses and unable to have full revelation of the bible and God’s will for our lives. We need the merciful gift from God of regeneration. This is where God brings us to life and leads us to repentance and the turning away from a life of sin and leads us to accept him as our Lord and Savior. We become servants of Christ rather than slaves of sin. The bible says unless a man be born again he will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. The bible says we must examine ourselves to be sure we are in the faith! Is your eternity assured? Have you been reborn from above? I pray today that you will ask the Holy Spirit to regenerate you, teach you his word, and lead you to him if he hasn’t already.

JESUS SAVES
God the Son (Jesus Christ) has given us the gospel to share with the world.
Mark 16: 15: "And He said unto them, Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
How can anyone hear the "good" news? Romans 10: 17 "Then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (We receive the "word" in many ways. The "Word" is Jesus Christ!); John 1:1-5 The Spirit teaches through the Word)
Isaiah 7: 14: "Therefore the LORD shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and call His name Immanuel." Hebrew: עִמָּנוּאֵל, "God with us" in human flesh but without sin. The Savior of the world was born to die for our sins! He did so 33 years later. His terrible ordeal; body mutilated; blood poured out, finally died (John 19:30; Luke 23:46 ) and was placed in a tomb and rose from the dead the 3rd day ! "HE IS RISEN" Matthew 28: 6.

THE PAYMENT BY HIS BLOOD FOR ALL SINS EVER!
"And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world." 1 John 2: 2
Romans 5: 8 " But God demonstrates his love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, now justified by his blood, we will be saved from wrath through him."
“For he (God) hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 5: 21.
Matthew 26: 28 "For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." (the life is in the blood. He had to pay with His life)
"In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;." Ephesians 1: 7
BY GOD'S GRACE ALONE THROUGH FAITH ALONE IN JESUS CHRIST ARE WE SAVED
Ephesians 2: 8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast."
Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sins and rescue us from eternal death. Because of Jesus' death on our behalf, all we have to do is believe in Him, trusting in His death and in the shedding of His blood as payment for our sins, as well as in His burial and resurrection from the dead the third day, and we will be saved! John 20: 24-31; See also 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4 above.
WHOSOEVER BELIEVES SHALL TESTIFY TO THE TRUTH
Romans 10:
9 That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart man believes in righteousness; And a confession by mouth is given for salvation.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Salvation and forgiveness of sins is the blessing of anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We receive the baptism of God the Holy Spirit immediately which seals us in Christ and that is permanent! Ephesians 1:13-14. Those who reject the free gift of salvation, see John 3:16 above, "perish", which means their sins are judged by God the Son and they suffer eternal separation from God and the family of God forever called the "second death". Revelation 21: 8.
"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5: 1
THE ANGELS GIVE GLORY TO GOD IN HEAVEN! HERE WE HEAR AND SEE EARTH "ANGELS" DOING IT TOO!
AT THE RAPTURE; that is the instant removal of the bride of Christ to meet our Lord above earth when we will receive an imperishable sinless body like that of Jesus Christ.1 Cor. 15:51-57. First church believers who died whose soul/spirit are waiting with the Lord (2 Cor.5:8) and then those alive following them up (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). The Lord calls us from above Earth. I believe the Holy Spirit in us HEARS and actually removes us to Christ's side! Our sin nature, Romans 3:23, is supernaturally removed and our sanctification (being holy) is completed as is our salvation so we can go to Heaven.
Philippians 1:6 " Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:"
WHEN? We are NOT appointed to God's wrath! 1 Thessalonians 1:10; 5:9; Romans 5:8-9. The bride of Christ will not go through "Tribulation" when God judges the lost world left behind. No longer will evil be restrained as one of the ministries of the Holy Spirit. The bride is complete & home. That opens the door for the appearance of anti-Christ; Satan in human form!
TIMING OF RAPTURE?
See John 14:3; Titus chapter 2:verses 11-14; Revelation 3:10 It is "IMMINENT"! "Maranatha" ("He comes") was the greeting to one another in the just formed church. They looked for Jesus to come in their time! WE TOO! Only God knows the time the last Christian is saved! Romans 11:25.

there are many able bodied men on the street but some are not mentally able. i have given to homeless men. i give when god tells me to or i feel compelled. its easy for someone to judge someone on the street not knowing how or why they got there. and once there its really hard to get off the street. hardly anyone will help them or give them a job or a chance. i often wonder if i lost everything and was on the street would i be able to get off or would i even have the will anymore. i think people are just spoiled with there comforts and really judge others that are not living like them. sometimes i wonder if we are suppose to have money since all of those that were following Jesus in the bible gave up everything even there money and was trusting in him.

Please help me Lord to persevere & be more purposeful to be patient & kind! What you will be judged on though is if you loved what Christ loves most: his church. Your love for his church is how you will be judged. For no one can say they love Jesus and feel nothing for his people. Everyone loves their families and friends, but the love for the church only comes to the true believer who is born of God. For it is not you who loves, but the Spirit that loves in each believer. This is a firm understanding to know if Christ lives within you by the Holy Spirit.
