All I kept hearing was "me, me, me and I, I, I" ….this was not about our glorious, wonderful God and Savior Jesus Christ and what was done to save our souls so that we might turn from our sinful path and be forgiven to walk with the Lord. Jesus was a side note in this "sermon" and used for a path for the listener to get what they want. Please brothers and sisters, turn to the Lord and praise Him and love Him…not for what He can do to "make your life great" or whatever it is, but because He is your God and because He has ALREADY DONE for you. Now devote your life to the Lord God and worship Him for who He is, even if you never get anything else in return. We are NOT promised a perfect and happy happy life, and we are certainly NOT promised wealth and an easy path. We have all the blessings we need in God and we are the hands and feet of God because we love Him – because He has already loved us first.
"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matt 6:19-21
