At Passion City Church, we believe that because God has displayed the ultimate sacrifice in Jesus, our response to that in worship must be extravagant. It is our privilege, and our created purpose, to reflect God’s Glory to Him through our praise, our sacrifice, and our song.

Praise God
Happiness is an emotion based on circumstances.
Joy is gratitude rooted in grace, no matter what our circumstance.
We live in a battle, not a bubble!
If joy is going to live in your life, something is going to have to die in your life.
Comparison is the thief of joy.
The real enemy of joy is a selfishness rooted in ingratitude.
1. Entitlement robs joy
2. Shame is an adversary of joy
Both need a revelation of grace in glory! We do not deserve anything!
How to stoke the fire of JOY
1.Identify the things you are grateful for.
Gratitude produces joy!
2. Don't over ask of people or things. Those things can not be the root of your joy.
The root of JESUS produces the fruit of joy!
3. Balance joyless people with joyful people.
4. Keep seeking JESUS!
You must abide in Him!
Joy is a person named JESUS!
