Mat 24:14 is the beginning of the end because it goes on to say after nearly everyone is dead the sun and moon go dark then He appears not by the preaching of the gospel though that starts the terrible time of the end.
Keep in mind heaven is where the LORD is. HE comes back here, so heaven will be here eventually… HE has not made the earth in vain, but to be inhabited….

The detail I do not agree is the "delaying" : our blessed hope will come at its precise and perfectly appointed time, written before the foundation of the world. And also an angel will preach in the air during the tribulation period, so… the church (us) will not finish this commission, certainly! Amen
