  5. Pretty obvious that the early deceivers intentionally used Lord and lord to confuse people when reading the Bible. The objective is to make civil laws the same as the Covenant. WHICH ISN'T TRUE

  9. This video is so misleading and has no evidence from Jewish scripture! YHWH is an abbreviation of God's true name to the Israelites, not YAHWEH! Jews do not pronounce the true name of God, or its abbreviation, and instead use Adonai, but it never went through the transition to become YAHOWAH as described in the video. Ask any Jew and get educated.

  16. Great little teaching with just a few needed corrections. For starters Yahweh Does not actually translate " I will be". This is the 1st clue red flag to the real name being Yahweh… That name actually originated from Mount Gerizim Where Jupiter was worshiped. In that ancient language father Jupiter is translated as "Joweh" Since there is no letter J in Hebrew you can see how this eventually morphed into Yahweh. Please sse the many complete teachings by linguist Nehemiah Gordon Where this is parsed and proven. He then goes into the real name which is still a judgment call still with some unknown vowel pointings. The The modern vowel pointings would Suggest "YEHVOVAH"…. I side with the paleo: YaHuWaH..

  21. I read something recently that was very profound and that is that YHWH also refers to the sound of a breath. Have you guys heard of this? I find it very symbolic to have a connection between God and breathing because it’s a sign of how we are essentially kept alive through no means of our own. We don’t have to put any thought into breathing it just happens. Even at night when our agency and consciousness escapes us during sleep our breathing continues. The breath simply IS and it keeps us alive. God is the same way IMHO.

    "39 Know therefore this day, and lay it to thy heart, that Jehovah he is God in heaven above and upon the earth beneath; there is none else."

  30. Bible Project, there was a recently active thread that I participated in regarding the Name of JESUS with the last comment being yesterday that I now cannot find. Would you be so kind as to tell me if that thread was deleted and if so for what reason?

  41. 2 mistakes:
    1 – you quoted the first commandment as part of the Shema – that is in the Biblical text, but the Jewish prayer is 'Hear, O Israel, YHWH our God, YHWH is one. Blessed be his glorious name for ever, Amen'
    2 – 'Yahweh' is the invention of 20th century Christian scholars; before the Babylon exile ALL Jews knew the proper sounding of God's covenant Name; since then it has been preserved, usually secretly, by Rabbis, but even 500 years ago Luther knew how it should be said, and he refers to it IN GERMAN as Jehovah [J pronounced Y] – hence the old English usage of Jehovah. YHWH should be said 'Yehovah', not Yahweh
