“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” (Job 22:28)

God realizes that everything we face is a battle. We fight our flesh, powers of darkness and negativity all around us. Our walk with Him is a process, so in this verse God tells us that if we make a decree, He will establish it. In other words God is telling us, “You speak healing over your body, I will heal your body. You speak salvation over your children and household, I will save them. You speak prosperity over your business, and I will establish your business.”

Everything in the Bible is voice activated! A decree is made with your mouth. It’s the sounding of your words. Demons are allowed to do certain things and curses can manifest because of the words that are spoken. Our mouth has the power to set Heaven in motion and Hell in motion. The power of life and death are in the tongue (Proverbs 18:25).

This verse is saying that if you can use your mouth to make a decree; to repeat the words that have already been written in the Bible, to decree your dreams and your destiny, to decree healing over your body, God will establish it!

Decreeing is taking your faith beyond prayer. Praying is asking. Decreeing is saying it so. God wants you to be able to say, “I prayed over it, and now I declare it!”

We speak to the mountain, God moves the mountain!

Begin to decree over your life! Give verbal decrees over your business, over your church, over your ministry. Quit releasing negative. Decree what you desire and watch what the Master will do.

You speak the words, God does the work!
