  1. It’s His highest priority in our lives. Thank you Jesus, and thank you Dr. Stanley. All in His will and His time. Follow the Holy Spirit and let Him convict you of your sins so you can have the most wonderful personal relationship to Him!

  2. You didn't really answer the question, Dr Stanley. At least not for me. One f the apostles said "¿How can you say you love God whom you can't see if you don't love your brother home you can see?"
When applying that same logic to simply having a relationship, it seems like a declaration that a relationship with God is Impossible. My entire life's experience Has been a constant quest to simply survive in this highly material world. I have no time for any kind of relationship, And it is nearly impossible to believe in something that I cannot see. I'm aware of what The Bible says about believing versus seeing, however just knowing what The Bible says has not helped me to believe. I would love nothing more than to experience something supernatural from heaven the heaven spoken of in The Bible. My long for the experience of a relationship with the most high God, Jesus the Son of God. God said that he would have mercy on whom he would have mercy, so perhaps I will not be one of those. Since the promise is extended to as many as the Lord God shall call, perhaps I will never be one of those called.

  3. FOCUS on GOD–and NOT your problems.
GOD'S message to ALL BELIEVERS IS—and herein lies OUR POWER:
    2 CHRONICLES 7:14:

THEN if MY people, who are called by MY NAME [belong to ME], will HUMBLE themselves, if they will PRAY and SEEK ME [MY FACE] and STOP their evil ways, I will hear them from heaven. I will FORGIVE their sin, and I will HEAL [RESTORE] their land.

  4. It takes time:
it requires Listening (not doing all the talking), sharing ourselves with God and others, openness/honesty and trust/ understanding with what He is doing in our lives, acceptance of the way God is and you are, and watching God do the work, and forgiveness and love. Intimately, awesome, quiet and sincere relationship with God. A life in Where God is the centre of your life.
A person who’s seeking the will, purpose and plans of God. A personal intimate relationship with God is all about God, not us!
It’s his highest priority for your life! It determines the very impact if your life!

  5. God develops an intimate relationship with those who are willing to walk righteously before Him.
He wants to reveal himself to us, he wants to accomplish his work through us.
Not just coming and going, praying sometimes and reading bible when in trouble. It goes far beyond that, and being saved.
Intimacy with God involves depth in relationship; reading the word of God, prayer, sharing faith, sense of openness and oneness with God. Honesty with everything. It takes time. You must give God time!
