  1. What???  This is exactly what I plead with people to do. I'm not kidding, when I started reading the Word of God, I found out for sure what the Bible actually says, planted it in my mind daily, and now I can tell if someone is saying something wrong to me.  I have never heard a preacher or teacher say this before.   It honestly shocked me lol.  Awesome.  That is what changed my life, being in the actual Word of God.

  2. Why? Who? Misguided foolishness. No god, no son, no spirit. There are some excellent books, lots of excellent books, by Pratchett, Niven, Asimov, Heller, Westlake. they are very entertaining and far more instructive about humanity than a religious book.

  3. Start at the beginning so you know who everybody is and what things have happened. Read it according to the Torah portions. That's not overwhelming and is what your Messiah did, every year, year in and year out. Then you will understand why certain things are not further explained in your "New Testament"–because everyone was already familiar. Don't be like the 89 out of every 100 Christians who have never read their bible clear through.
And then when you find out that the Sabbath is Saturday, that there's no Christmas or Easter, that there are animals which are Toxic Waste Disposal Units and not to be made into "food", when you find all that out, don't go to your pastor.

  4. Read The Gospel of John first, then the rest of the New Testament in order. That is the best strategy. I think it was put into perfect order! John will reveal Jesus. Acts will reveal the gift of the Holy Spirit. Romans will reveal Christian doctrine and how the Holy Spirit functions in the believer's life.

  5. Study the Bible, start here:
Without the Resurrection, Christian doctrine is void.

Yet, there are so many contradictions and flaws in the

  6. Get introduced to the SAVIOR,read the Book of JOHN,then listen to the Christian radio listen to all the ministries that comes on what ever ministry set a spiritual fire stir up in your spirit that's the church GOD want you to attend so you can grow there by ,one plant one waters but GOD give the increase, never stay away from the WORD of GOD even if you fail keep putting off the sin that so easily beset us,keep going in CHRIST.

  7. I put forward that someone should put first a love of the truth and righteousness. If you don't put a love of truth and righteousness first you could read whatever you want and you are lost to the great delusion.

  8. With respect, I think the first thing should be going to a good church. If revelation didn’t come by private interpretation, then neither does our understanding of the Scriptures. This happens in the fellowship of fellow believers under the hearing of the word of God as it is preached and taught and obeyed. Faithful teaching should and will lead to personal reading of the Scriptures, but without that foundation, I think you risk going very quickly down private paths of interpretation. New Christians need to be taught by the mature; they do not need to be self-taught. Just as a newborn is not left to find milk on its own, so spiritual infants should not be immediately turned out to fetch the milk of the word on their own, in isolation. God has designed spiritual growth to occur in the context of the church, as Paul indicates in Ephesians 4. So that is where new Christians should be first of all.

  9. Read and read your Bible new Christians, even if it's not translated correctly or altered on purpose.
Did Christ tell those people who believed in Him to go home and read their scriptures for days and years on end ? I don't recall Him doing so. At least this man suggests reading the Book of John which is a book many pastors avoid completely.

  10. John MacArthur is NOT a Christian, but rather a 'trinitarian'.
I say this with ALL due respect and in the name of the one and only Almighty God, the Lord Jesus Christ.
He/they believe in False Roman Catholic gods called, 'god the Son', and 'god the Holy Ghost'.
NO such gods are in the word of God. (KJV) PERIOD/FACT.

Of a Truth, there is only one Almighty living God and he is a Spirit, a Holy Spirit. His name is Jesus Christ, and he came IN the flesh, and he was manifested IN the flesh, INSIDE the human body of his only BEGOTTEN Son.
(this is WHY his BEGOTTEN Son is called by his Father's name)
Spirit and flesh, Spirit and flesh, Spirit and flesh.
God is a Spirit (a Holy Spirit) and God was manifested IN the flesh.
Jesus Christ the Son of man is a man. (a human being, obviously!!!)
Almighty God (who is a Spirit) is INSIDE that man.
    God was IN Christ.
In him, (the man Jesus Christ) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
'God and man'. God is INSIDE the man.

There is NO 'trinity' or 'trinity of gods'.
Just one God and one man.
    God is IN the man.
God was manifested IN the flesh.
    God was IN Christ.

He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

  11. This is the same guy who says you can take the mark of the beast and still go to heaven??? Nothing could be further from the truth….. (Revelation 14:9-11) And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, if any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of his holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: This is heretical…….

  12. it was the first step 1 year before I got saved. When I was 16 I started to read the Bible every day and the puritans. Prayer and The Word is God's way to lead us to Christ. I tried to do better and work my way to salvation. It took a year to become total lost and deserving of Hell.

  13. Was saved about three months ago. Baptized in early December 2019. Sometimes it can be overwhelming and discouraging to listen to sermons directed at mature believers. Every sermon is a salvation check, and if you’re not like pastor X or Mr. Christian you feel like you aren’t saved.

  14. All new christians please pay full attention to my message. I was a born again christian for over 20 years. I finally had my eyes open to the deception of all man made religions. Save your sanity, save your time, and save your money…stay away from religion. The bible is made up, jesus is a deception. He was not god…humans made him god in their mind and writings. I can save you years of wasting your time. Go enjoy life. If you want to fornicate, just do it. Do what feels good.
